treeFungus is a collaboration project between Eric Des Marais and Alexa Jones-Gonzales. treeFungus produces a hybrid of experimental electronic music pulling on IDM, industrial, ambient and trance roots. They are currently completing their first release, as well as spearheading the Japan Aid Collaboration CD.

Eric Des Marais was previously the lead guitarist and co-songwriter for Swoon 19, an ambient shoegazer band from the 1990s Athens, GA music scene. Alexa is the founder of Partition 36.
